Terms of Service

Welcome to Wisheez. By using the Wisheez mobile app or the website at wisheez.com ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Wisheez

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) and able to form a legally binding contract where you live. If you create an account on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Your account

• Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You may close your account at any time from inside the app.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or put other users at risk.

3. Your content

• You own what you post (wishes, event notes, images). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share your content strictly to operate the Service.
• Don't post anything that infringes copyright, is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Public wishes are visible to anyone. Set wishes to private or friends-only if you don't want strangers to see them.

4. Premium subscription

• Wisheez Premium costs USD $4.99 per month unless we clearly show a different price before you buy.
• Billing is handled by Stripe. You authorise recurring monthly charges until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime from the Manage Subscription screen. Access continues until the end of the paid period. We don't offer refunds for partial months unless required by law.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend Premium features until payment succeeds.

5. Affiliate links & merchants

Wisheez suggests gifts with affiliate links to Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Etsy and others. When you buy, you buy directly from the merchant under their terms. We don't ship, refund, or warranty any product. If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact the merchant.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate commissions never change the price you pay.

6. AI suggestions

Our AI quiz is for inspiration. It won't always get it right, and prices and availability change constantly. Double-check anything important before you buy.

7. Group gifting

Group-gift contributions tracked inside Wisheez are a social record, not a payment. Actual money is sent peer-to-peer outside the app using whatever tool you choose (Venmo, PayPal, etc.). Wisheez isn't responsible for off-platform payments.

8. Our content

The Wisheez name, logo, app design, and software are ours. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute them except as these terms allow.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we don't guarantee it will be available every second of every day. Features may change or be removed as we improve the product.

10. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wisheez disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of gifts, data, or affection. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Delaware.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is material, we'll surface it in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
